After the Democratic Primaries Super Tuesday results, we should now expect a tough battle between Bernie Sanders and the DNC establishment political "dinosaur", Joe Biden.
The first conclusion concerning Sanders campaign, is that it wasn't very successful on activating its most powerful secret weapon, which is the apolitical working-class huge mass.
Obviously, Sanders' campaigners should take a lesson and work harder on the issue. They should find a better strategy that will manage to mobilize working class Americans of all colors who choose to stay at home and refuse to participate in the political process. Bernie did inspire many of this huge-tank potential voters, but there are many more out there, waiting for something truly different, to get involved.
Michael Bloomberg suspended his campaign, and the results show that his real mission has not been very successful. Elizabeth Warren may eventually drop nomination too as she clearly has no chance. However, she has already done a lot of damage, justifying those who believe that her real mission is to split the progressive vote.
And after the Obama recruitment in favor of Biden, it's now very clear that the establishment has put all its bets on "Creepy Uncle Joe".
Yet, this still doesn't explain how an obsolete corporate neoliberal managed to sweep the Southern states against the most popular politician in the United States right now. Not to mention that almost every poll was showing that Sanders would easily beat Biden in most of the Super Tuesday battles. So, how did that happen?
We should consider that the DNC has probably rigged the process again. It has become a routine, after all. And, furthermore, we should also consider that the DNC elites may already be working behind the scenes with Trump, as one last effort to stop Sanders before winning the nomination.
Indeed, as the Huffington Post reported [most important parts highlighted]:
An analysis by The Guardian found that Texas officials have been methodical about closing the most sites in communities with the largest-growing Black and Latino populations. The publication found that the 50 Texas counties that gained the most Black and Latino residents from 2012 to 2018 eliminated 542 polling sites over that span, while the 50 counties that gained the fewest Black and Latino residents during that time eliminated only 34 sites. On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Texas Democratic Party said these closures are part of voter suppression efforts by state Republicans. “People have died to fight for the sanctity of the vote,” spokesperson Abhi Rahman told HuffPost. “Republicans’ only way to retain power is to basically curb the vote, and we’re fighting back against all of those attempts,” he added.
Such a vote suppression attempt in the primaries would certainly hurt Sanders rather than Biden because all Sanders' power lies within the grassroots movement he has built.
But beyond that, we should not exclude the possibility that some of the "Trump brigades" were mobilized to alter the outcome, especially in critical states like Texas, in favor of Biden. A significant number of Trump fanatics could penetrate the primaries, voting for Biden.
And how do we know that the corporate Democrats and the Republicans are already together on this? A good indication is their statements about Sanders. Almost every "analysis" in the corporate media across the political spectrum and every statement made either by a corporate Democrat or a Republican is pointing Sanders as the weakest candidate against Trump. And all their "logic" is concentrated around the fact that Sanders is portraying himself as a "Socialist", something which supposedly scares most Americans.
In short, the Republicans pretend that they prefer Sanders as an opponent against Trump, throwing an easy pass to the corporate Democrats. And the corporate Democrats are grabbing the ball to score by scaring the moderate voters and potential voters who might be thinking voting for Sanders.
And all this political theater is taking place in front of our eyes, despite the fact that almost every poll shows Sanders beating Trump, already since 2016. And in many cases, the polls show that he is the only one who can beat him.
We know it, you know it, they know it. The "Orange Clown" would have "Creepy Uncle Joe" for breakfast. And the only one who has a good chance against him is "Crazy Bernie".
