We really are seeing a class-war underway and Bernie Sanders is fighting against those who have too much power
As New Hampshire kicks off primary voting in the 2020 election cycle, Senator Bernie Sanders is a clear frontrunner. His rallies in New Hampshire have seen huge turnout, especially among young people, and his message is resonating with a wide cross-section of the electorate, says Norman Solomon, co-founder and national coordinator of RootsAction.org. Sanders's success is all the more striking because of the hostility of the corporate media, which Solomon says has waged a "war on Bernie" for the last five years. "The Bernie Sanders campaign is up against the oligarchy," says Solomon. "And that oligarchy's biggest and strongest arm are the corporate media outlets."
