Brussels bureaufascists are ready to replace Alexis Tsipras with their most faithful puppet in Greece
The latest European election in Greece was a real shock for the government. Alexis Tsipras and his party SYRIZA took the second place and suffered a heavy defeat with almost 10 points behind the right-wing New Democracy. Tsipras was forced to declare national elections on July 7th and it seems that blog's predictions are about to become true.
As we wrote already in 2016, right after the internal elections for the new leadership in New Democracy:
As we wrote already in 2016, right after the internal elections for the new leadership in New Democracy:
The result for the leadership of the main opposition party, New Democracy, in Greece after Sunday's elections, must had brought waves of relief to the Brussels-Berlin axis. Brussels bureaufascists and Berlin directorate have now the best "backup" alternative in case that Tsipras administration attempt to diverge from the catastrophic policies imposed by the European Financial Dictatorship (EFD).
The new leader of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is probably the ideal alternative solution. The man that could do the job, which is to apply accurately all the cruel neoliberal policies to the slightest detail, according to the Greek experiment.
Mitsotakis belongs to the team of New Democracy top members (Chatzidakis, Georgiadis, etc.), who are the most faithful to the neoliberal doctrine and absolutely dedicated to it. Under the pretext of "reforms", he will put a definite end to what is left from the social state in Greece, following consistently the timeline of the Greek neoliberal experiment.

It is characteristic that after the announcement of the results for the new leadership in New Democracy, the media establishment made extended references to the winner (like someone who could really save Greece), while the internet trolls were propagating the estimation that a "new hope", or, "new age" starts for the country. This is at least ridiculous, considering that Kyriakos Mitsotakis is one of the most authentic representatives of the biggest political families in Greece. He is an authentic representative of the old political establishment that brought Greece in current situation.
It seems that the plan is going well. The Brussels-Berlin axis forced Tsipras to apply austerity, privatizations and insane surpluses to an already bankrupted economy. The US imperialists forced him to sign the agreement with North Macedonia in order to close the issue with the name of the country. This has opened the road for its definite 'annexation' by the Western imperialist formations (NATO, EU).
Yet, when the bailout program imposed by Greece's creditors (ECB, IMF, European Commission) has ended, leaving behind ruins, Tsipras administration found some space to make some tiny moves, in an effort to begin reversing the situation. That is, it begun to implement some popular measures to boost demand and bring a sense of relief to the devastated middle class.
That was enough to activate the alarm at the heart of the EFD. The local oligarchs (in full coordination with the EFD to protect their interests) didn't waste time. The Greek media begun a new round of propaganda against Tsipras administration. They managed to persuade many Greeks that the agreement for the name of North Macedonia was an act of treason against Greece's national interest. And that, New Democracy, the traditional right, is still patriotic and would had never sign such an agreement. This was actually the epicenter of propaganda. Of course, the truth is that the neoliberal New Democracy would had sign whatever the Western imperialists wanted. It's ideologically identical with them, after all.

So, the Western 'allies' of Greece forced Tsipras to do all the dirty work in order to pave the way for Mitsotakis.
A first poll prior to the national elections shows New Democracy ahead with about 7%. It's amazing how much effective the propaganda has been proved. The Greek voters are ready to elect someone from the old political establishment that bankrupted Greece. Recall that Kyriakos Mitsotakis served as Minister of Administrative Reform and e-Governance from 2011 to 2015. During his term he was fully aligned with Greece's creditors demands towards neoliberal policies.
It is not accidental, of course, that the global financial mafia essentially celebrated New Democracy victory.
With so many open fronts now in Europe, (Brexit, Italy, rise of the anti-globalist far-right, rise of the anti-neoliberal Greens), Brussels bureaufascists want to close the Greek front with their man in power in order to avoid another big headache. Yet, it's obvious that lately many things are going wrong for them ...

"rise of the anti-neoliberal Greens". If the Greens are anti-neoliberal, I am the queen of England!
