Kyle Kulinski starts schooling Bernie Sanders on Venezuela then makes the same mistake

globinfo freexchange
Bernie Sanders disappointed the real Leftists again with his stance concerning Venezuela. In a latest tweet he actually adopted the imperialist regime-change narrative that is used to justify another US intervention against a sovereign country. Bernie tweeted:
The people of Venezuela are enduring a serious humanitarian crisis. The Maduro government must put the needs of its people first, allow humanitarian aid into the country, and refrain from violence against protesters.
Many real progressives immediately pointed out Bernie's disappointing statement. Abby Martin tweeted:
you know better than to endorse a stunt led by war criminals who have snuck weapons in aid shipments in the past. This stance will not make democrats like you more and will only lose you support from socialists

For $300, anyone can find out exactly where you are

For as little as $300, an investigative reporter was able to hire a bounty hunter to track down the exact location of his cell phone in real time. If you're wondering how this could possibly happen, the answer is simple ... because cell phone companies are selling this data, and it's being re-sold over and over again.
This incredible disregard for personal information could put your identity, your finances and even your safety in danger. Just imagine what a stalker, an abusive ex, or anyone with an ax to grind might do with this sensitive data.
Several senators have called for an investigation into this matter, but we all know that Ajit Pai and the telecom companies will be pushing hard to make sure that doesn't happen. So add your name to our petition and tell lawmakers: "My cell phone company should not be able to sell my location or my personal data. Congress and the FCC should investigate this immediately."

As mainstream journalists acknowledge Douma attacks were “staged,” the “humanitarian” Syria regime-change network tries to save a sinking ship

There is increasing desperation on the part of the “humanitarian” regime-change network to protect its influence and the power of its narratives, not just in Syria but in future conflicts.
by Whitney Webb and Vanessa Beeley
Part 3 - Global Public Policy Institute’s place in regime-change network
Beyond Schneider’s conflicts of interests by virtue of his work history and current associations, the organization that employs him — the Global Public Policy Institute — is directly connected to an oligarch-directed and oligarch-funded regime-change network that specializes in manufacturing “humanitarian” justifications for Western military adventurism abroad. The main oligarchs who drive this network, as detailed in a recent articles series at MintPress, include Jeffrey Skoll, George Soros, Pierre Omidyar, and Ted Turner — philanthrocapitalists aligned with the neoliberal, globalist agendas of the U.S/U.K alliance.
In addition to its stated mission of “improving global governance,” in line with…

How one of America’s premier data monarchs is funding a global information war and shaping the media landscape

Through his purchase of influence over the daily flow of information to American media consumers, a dizzying array of connections to the national security state, and a media empire that shields him from critical scrutiny, Pierre Omidyar has become one of the world’s most politically sophisticated data monarchs.
by Alexander Rubinstein and Max Blumenthal
Part 3 - Reviving the neoconservative movement’s banner publication
In November 2018, news arrived that Omidyar had invested no less than $600,000 through his Democracy Fund into neoconservative granddaddy Bill Kristol’s Defending Democracy Together. The seemingly strange alliance of the funder of an outlet known for its exposés of national security state abuses with one of the national security state’s most hardline enforcers was covered almost exclusively by right-wing media, with near-total radar silence from the world of progressive online media.
Omidyar’s support for Kristol’s ventures dated back to at least 2017, when his Democracy …

Ως «αδιόρθωτο» και «απαίσιο» περιγράφουν οι New York Times, η New York Herald και το Associated Press τον ηγέτη της Βενεζουέλας.
Οι ομοιότητες διαβολικές. Η κατάληξη ίδια;

Former US official who participated in the coup against Hugo Chavez says there is no doubt that the covert operation was continued against Nicolas Maduro

globinfo freexchange
Larry Wilkerson, member of the George W. Bush administration talked to Paul Jay of the Real News Network. Wilkerson admitted that his administration was trying to overthrow Hugo Chavez through a 'slow-burning coup d'etat' at least since 2002, and the operation continued uninterrupted until today against Nicolas Maduro.
Wilkerson made some astonishingly sincere remarks about the US policy in Latin America:
You know that I know quite well the history of US relations with Latin America, and in particular with South America. And you know that I was in the administration in 2002 in Washington that essentially started a slow-burning coup d’etat versus Hugo Chavez at the time. And I have no doubt that that covert operation has continued with ups and downs with Nicolas Maduro.
You also know that I know that no move in our hemisphere that I can recall in our history has ever been about democracy and freedom, though we use those words quite loosely to describe our…

Trump’s Democratic opposition endorses his coup attempt in Venezuela

Illustrating that the exception only proves the rule, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard stood virtually alone, tweeting: “The United States needs to stay out of Venezuela. Let the Venezuelan people determine their future. We don’t want other countries to choose our leaders — so we have to stop trying to choose theirs.”
by Alexander Rubinstein
Nothing unites the D.C. blob like a good old coup d’état. The only other times, it seems, that Donald Trump is given a break by “the resistance” is when he acts “presidential” — i.e., orders military aggression, as we saw with Syria.
As veteran journalist Dan Rather put it at the time: “The number of members of the press who have lauded the actions last night as ‘presidential’ is concerning. War must never be considered a public relations operation. It is not a way for an Administration to gain a narrative. It is a step into a dangerous unknown and its full impact is impossible to predict, especially in the immediate wake of the first strike.
Now, it has been mor…

US admits plan to weaponize foreign aid

‘Sick & twisted’: US Senator Rubio tweets picture of Gaddafi’s murder as a threat to Maduro

US Senator Marco Rubio has posted a picture of the brutal murder of late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in a less-than-subtle threat to Venezuela’s Maduro. Twitter blasted Rubio as a manic warmonger… who has extremely poor taste.
The two pictures –one showing Gaddafi while still in power, the other showing the Libyan leader being tortured minutes before his brutal murder– were posted by Sen. Rubio (R-FL) on Twitter without any caption. Yet, given his open calls for an armed insurrection in the Latin American country to depose President Nicolas Maduro, the message was clear.
Because nothing says human rights like gloating over a human being getting sodomized to death with a bayonet. — WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) February 24, 2019
Openly threatening a head of a foreign country with a brutal death at the hands of US-propped militants was, apparently, just a tiny bit off: while a few Twitteratti supported Rubio's vision of Maduro's demise, the majority blasted the senator over an extreme …

Meet Juan Guaido’s first ambassador, fake Twitter diplomat slammed by Costa Rica for ‘unacceptable entry’

Maria Faría, the daughter of a would-be Hugo Chávez assassin, illegally barged into Venezuela’s embassy in Costa Rica and declared herself ambassador. The embarrassing stunt highlighted everything wrong with Juan Guaidó’s reality-show government.
by Anya Parampil
Part 2 - “Strong rejection of the performance of … María Faría”
Faria’s first day as the Twitter-proclaimed ambassador quickly deteriorated into a humiliating debacle.
Costa Rica might have recognized Guaido as President of Venezuela on January 23rd, but her brazen move took the country’s Foreign Ministry by surprise. Speaking to reporters, Costa Rican Vice Minister Lorena Aguilar announced that her office “deplored the unacceptable entry” into Venezuela’s Embassy in Costa Rica “by diplomatic personnel of the government of interim President Juan Guaidó.” Aguilar went on to express a “strong rejection of the performance of the diplomatic representative María Faría”.
On February 15th, Costa Rica gave diplomats representing the inte…

failed evolution

Part 2 - Who is Tobias Schneider?
According to his bio at the GPPI website, Tobias Schneider is a research fellow at GPPI who focuses on “insurgency and counterinsurgency in the contemporary Middle East,” among other related issues. Prior to working with GPPI, Schneider worked as a consultant on Syria and Yemen for the World Bank, an influential financial institution that a WikiLeaks document recently confirmed; is used as a “financial weapon” by the United States military.
He has also worked at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), a pro-NATO think tank located in Washington. CEPA’s stated mission is “to promote an economically vibrant, strategically secure, and politically free Europe with close and enduring ties to the United States.
