Argentinians
fear that the conservative administration made a devastating deal for
the country, triggering another cycle of economic crisis for
Argentina.
Over 20,000
people from various social movements and political organizations
gathered at the gates of the National Congress Tuesday in order to
protest against President Mauricio Macri’s bill aimed at reaching
an agreement with the vulture funds.
Most of
Argentina’s left participated to the protest together with workers
unions and other social organizations, while social media users also
railed against the bill with the hashtags "We don't want to
scrape the bottom (of the barrel)," a pun on the Spanish words
for barrel and bank.
