Another plastic boat carrying refugees to Greece was overthrown under unknown circumstances off coast Samos. Eleven more people died in the Aegean Sea. The incident took place only six meters from the coast of Samos.
Five women, two children and four infants have died. Most of the dead were trapped in the cabin of the six meter plastic boat.
The Coast collected 15 refugees, while a boat of the Coast, volunteer groups and divers are continuing investigations to identify missing persons.
Another shipwreck took place off the Turkish coast, north of Agathonisi, but is not yet clear whether the boat was in the Greek or the Turkish waters. So far two bodies have been collected and three people have been rescued.
