by system failure
It was a disastrous night and a devastating result, not only for the Labour party, but also for the entire country. The British voters have just thrown into the dustbin of history a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to escape from the neoliberal Dark Ages, after decades.
Maggie's ghost is still hanging over Britain and it has become stronger than ever.
As a first conclusion, we could say that the capitalist factions in UK achieved their primary goal, which was to get rid of the Corbyn threat. As has already been mentioned, in the merciless endo-capitalist war, the pro-Brexit faction sees a potential Labour government under Jeremy Corbyn, also as a major threat. This is one of the few common views it has with the globalist faction.
Corporate media launched an unprecedented anti-Corbyn propaganda campaign that will certainly become a case study for scientists and future historians once this whole show turn off its lights.
But Corbyn holds also significant responsibility for this heavy defeat because he retreated against Blairites who pushed him to declare that he will re-consider Brexit.
As Ben Norton aptly commented on Twitter:
Labour tried to have its cake and eat it too: It was obvious Corbyn supported a left-wing Brexit, but the Blairites who still control the party would rather die than leave the neoliberal imperialist EU. So Labour took a bad, ambiguous position on the crucial issue. Historic error.
and
Neoliberal centrists will claim Labour's loss is because Corbyn was "too left-wing," but it's the opposite: He should have campaigned for a socialist Brexit. Calling for a new referendum was a mistake. They already had one—a majority supported leaving the EU! You can't erase that.

After Johnson's surprisingly wide victory, the pro-Brexit capitalists have reinforced their position ahead of another wave of public looting, starting from NHS. They have also reinforced their negotiating position with the globalist faction ahead of the bargain around Brexit. Brexiteers will now demand "earth and water" to postpone, or even reverse the Brexit process, through their conservative political puppets.
It is expected that the City/CBI anti-Brexit capitalists will restore their political power through their Brairite puppets in the Labour party now that the Corbyn threat has been removed. They will now be free to focus on their war with the Brexiteers, although they remain in a relatively disadvantageous position due to Johnson's landslide victory.
Yet, it is expected that this victory will also have significant repercussions in the other side of the Atlantic, prior to the 2020 US presidential elections.
The corporate Democrats and the Clintonian establishment will seek to invest on Corbyn's heavy defeat in order to crush Sanders' momentum. They will certainly use the argument that the Leftist faction in the Labour has failed to inspire the voters. Therefore, the corresponding Sanders faction inside the Democratic party will also fail to beat Trump. They will try to make people forget that Hillary Clinton lost to Trump. And then, they will promote another neoliberal centrist for the Democratic leadership in order to get rid of Bernie Sanders, once and for all.
The liberal media will exercise enormous pressure on Bernie Sanders in order to make him withdraw his nomination from the Democratic primaries. Therefore, the DNC will have the chance to avoid the risk of another rigged process against him - now that progressives have all their eyes and ears focused on the oncoming primaries.
And after that, with one more neoliberal centrist in the Democratic leadership, Trump's second victory in the 2020 presidential elections is almost certain. After the Greeks, the Brits have just committed suicide and opened the road for a second Trump term.
But the war against the neoliberal beast is not over. The Leftists should keep fighting. The next critical battle will be held in the United States. The American youth should put all its efforts and energy to beat both the neoliberal centrists and Trump. Bernie Sanders could become the next US president.
