Σχέδια δημιουργίας κρυπτονομίσματος και από την Κούβα

Μέλη του Συμβουλίου της Επικρατείας καθώς και Υπουργοί της Κούβας συναντήθηκαν την Τρίτη με σκοπό να συζητήσουν θέματα οικονομίας και να σχεδιάσουν τις πολιτικές της χώρας σχετικά με τις όλο και δυσχερέστερες παράνομες οικονομικές κυρώσεις που επιβάλλουν οι ΗΠΑ στο νησί.

Ο Υπουργός Οικονομικών και Σχεδιασμού Αλεχάνδρο Χιλ είπε κατά τη συνάντηση της Τρίτης, όπου παρών ήταν και ο πρόεδρος της Κούβας, Μιγκέλ Ντίας-Κανέλ, ότι το υπουργείο του έχει σχεδιάσει μέτρα με αφορμή το Εθνικό σχέδιο ανάπτυξης για το 2030 τα οποία καλύπτουν μεγάλο μέρος των δημοσιονομικών θεμάτων.

O Χιλ παρουσίασε στη συνάντηση τα βασικά σημεία του σχεδιασμού του, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της επέκτασης και αύξησης των εξαγωγών. Επίσης ανέφερε πως θα υπάρχουν κρατικές επενδύσεις στην επιστήμη, στην επισιτιστική αυτάρκεια και στην ενδυνάμωση των κρατικών επιχειρήσεων.

Ο υπουργός επίσης είπε ότι γίνονται ορισμένες κινήσεις προς την παραγωγή κρυπτονομισμάτων με σκοπό να δημιουργηθεί μια πιο βιώσιμη οικονομία, που να επηρεάζεται λιγότερο από τις επιθυμίες της κυβέρνησης του Τραμπ.

«Σκοπεύουμε να μελετήσουμε την εφαρμογή των κρυπτονομισμάτων στις εθνικές και διεθνείς εμπορικές σχέσεις (…). Πρέπει να δούμε πως γίνεται να ενσωματώσουμε αυτού του είδους τα μέτρα που να επιτρέπουν να προχωρήσουμε προς επίλυση των προβλημάτων μας», ανέφερε ο Χιλ.

Τον Μάιο οι ΗΠΑ ενεργοποιώντας ένα διάταγμα του 1996 έδωσαν το δικαίωμα σε διεθνείς οντότητες να μηνύουν επιχειρήσεις που συνεργάζονται με την Κούβα ενώπιον δικαστηρίων των ΗΠΑ.

Αυτή είναι μία από τις πολλές κυρώσεις που έχον επιβληθεί κατά της κυβέρνησης Ντίας-Κανάλ και έρχονται να προστεθούν στο ηλικίας 60 ετών εμπάργκο στο νησί. Ωστόσο η χώρα έχει καταφέρει να εκπληρώσει τους στόχους ανάπτυξης που είχε θέσει ως τώρα και διατηρεί μια υψηλή βαθμολογία στον Δείκτη Ανθρώπινης Ανάπτυξης.

Russia’s FSB chief says US, Britain, Ukraine behind Moscow attack

The director of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, said on Tuesday (26 March) that the United States, Britain and Ukraine were behind the Moscow concert hall attack that killed at least 139 people on Friday, state news agency TASS reported.
