Η ιστορική τους απέχθεια για το Πολυτεχνείο

Η απέχθειά τους για τον εορτασμό της εξέγερσης του Πολυτεχνείου και ό,τι αυτή εξακολουθεί να συμβολίζει είναι ιστορικά γνωστή και δεν κρύβεται. Όχι ότι το προσπάθησαν και ιδιαίτερα, αλλά τουλάχιστον για τα μάτια του κόσμου και της δημοκρατίας ήταν και μερικές δεκαετίες που πήγαιναν πάσο.

Τα τελευταία χρόνια, όμως, αυτά που ξέραμε μας λένε ότι πρέπει να τα ξεχάσουμε και να προσαρμοστούμε στις επιταγές της δικής τους πραγματικότητας στην οποία δεν χωρούν οι ιδεολογικές αγκυλώσεις της Αριστεράς. “Αγκυλώσεις” οι οποίες τεχνηέντως και συστηματικά αρχικά συγχέονταν και πλέον ταυτίζονται με την περιβόητη ανομία και τίποτε παραπάνω.

Εορτασμοί, πορείες, φοιτητικές παρατάξεις, πανεπιστημιακό άσυλο, εκλογές, φοιτητική εκπροσώπηση, άρθρο 16, όλα μαζί στο μίξερ των ταλιμπάν του νεοφιλελευθερισμού, που επισημοποιούν όλο και πιο εμφατικά την επιχειρούμενη ακύρωση ενός πλαισίου κεκτημένων που αφορούν ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι της νεολαίας το οποίο και θα πρέπει να υποταχθεί στο αγοραίο αφήγημα του νεοφιλελευθερισμού που στη θέση των ακαδημαϊκών πολιτών επιθυμεί να τοποθετηθούν “υπάλληλοι” και “πελάτες”.

Από την πρόταση του υποψήφιου δημάρχου της Αθήνας Κωστή Μπακογιάννη για οριστικό κλείσιμο του Πολυτεχνείου έως την πρακτική πολλών ιδιωτικών σχολείων να υποβαθμίσουν φέτος έως εξαφάνισης τη γιορτή του Πολυτεχνείου από το πρόγραμμά τους, η διαδρομή είναι γνωστή και φέρει την υπογραφή ενός πολιτικού συστήματος που ποτέ δεν συμβιβάστηκε με την ιδέα ενός εορτασμού που ιστορικά παρέπεμπε και παραπέμπει σε πρόσωπα και γεγονότα με τα οποία κορυφαία στελέχη της ηγετικής ομάδας της Ν.Δ. διατηρούν επιλεκτικούς προσωπικούς και ιδεολογικούς δεσμούς.

Σημείο αυτών των καιρών και δείγμα της “αριστείας” που η Ν.Δ. του Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη ευαγγελίζεται είναι και η προκλητική στάση των ιδιωτικών σχολείων, που δεν σέβονται τη γιορτή της δημοκρατίας, τον αγώνα απέναντι στην κτηνώδη χούντα που ακρωτηρίασε την Ελλάδα, που βασάνισε και εκδίωξε δημοκράτες Έλληνες.

Μια έλλειψη σεβασμού που πηγάζει και εκπορεύεται από το γενικότερο αφήγημα που επιθυμεί και επιχειρεί την πλήρη ταύτιση των κοινωνικών διεκδικήσεων με τη βία και την ανομία του Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη και των οπαδών του αστυνομοκρατικού δόγματος «νόμος και τάξη», που δεν απέχει πολύ και από το αλησμόνητο “επί επαναστάσεως κοιμόμασταν με ανοιχτά παράθυρα”, το οποίο ήρθε δήθεν να ανατρέψει η Αριστερά.

Τίποτα το πρωτότυπο για τη Νέα Δεξιά του Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη.

On November, 23, WikiLeaks published an e-mail, sent by a member of an OPCW fact-finding mission to Syria to his superiors, in which he expresses his gravest concern over intentional bias introduced to a redacted version of the report he co-authored.
The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons sent a team of experts to investigate allegations that a chemical attack took place in the Syrian city of Douma on the 7th of April 2018. The author of the e-mail was a member of that team and claims the redacted preliminary version of the report, misrepresents the facts he and his colleagues discovered on the ground. The e-mail is dated 22nd of June. It is addressed to Robert Fairweather, Chief of Cabinet, and forwarded to his deputy Aamir Shouket and members of the fact-finding mission to Douma.

Here's why Bernie could end up being better than even FDR

In his speeches, Bernie Sanders frequently refers to the 32nd president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR), and his New Deal program that helped millions of Americans after the 1929 Wall Street crash. Sanders and other progressives are proposing a similar program adjusted to the modern environmental challenges. The Green New Deal has now become a popular vision, especially among young Americans. Around it, the progressives are aiming to build a whole new model beyond destructive neoliberalism and even obsolete capitalism.

Many would argue that this is quite an extremely optimistic view.
