To BBC στον πόλεμο εναντίον του Κόρμπιν με πρόσχημα τον «αντισημιτισμό»

Με ρεπορτάζ που δεν πληρούν κανέναν από τους κανόνες αντικειμενικής δημοσιογραφίας του σταθμού, το BBC επιτίθεται στον ηγέτη του Εργατικού κόμματος Τζέρεμι Κόρμπιν, προωθώντας τις κατηγορίες περί αντισημιτισμού που εξαπολύουν πολιτικοί του αντίπαλοι και η ίδια η κυβέρνηση του Ισραήλ.

Σε πρόσφατο τρέιλερ ενός ρεπορτάζ που ανέβασε στο Ίντερνετ, το BBC παρουσιάζει αποκλειστικά δηλώσεις μελών της εβραϊκής κοινότητας του Μάντσεστερ που ασκούν σκληρή κριτική στο εργατικό κόμμα, χωρίς όμως να παρουσιάζουν κανένα στοιχείο.

Ανάμεσα σε άλλα σχόλια που ακούγονται στο τρέιλερ (και δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με τη στάση των Εργατικών), μια γυναίκα περιγράφει ότι λαμβάνει μηνύματα που λένε «κρίμα που δεν σας σκότωσαν όλους στους θαλάμους αερίων».

Στο ίδιο το ρεπορτάζ, διάρκειας περίπου οκτώ λεπτών η συντριπτική πλειονότητα όσων συμμετέχουν συμφωνούν ότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο εργατικό κόμμα, χωρίς και πάλι να παρουσιάζουν κανένα στοιχείο πέρα από την κριτική που ασκούν ορισμένα από τα στελέχη του στο Ισραήλ.

Η εκστρατεία εναντίον του Τζέρεμι Κόρμπιν κλιμακώνεται τις τελευταίες εβδομάδες τόσο από τους συντηρητικούς και την εσωκομματική του αντιπολίτευση όσο και από την κυβέρνηση του Ισραήλ. Όπως διαπίστωσα από προσωπική εμπειρία, το Τελ Αβίβ χρησιμοποιεί ακόμη και εφαρμογές κινητών τηλεφώνων προκειμένου να συντονίζει υποστηρικτές του Ισραήλ να πραγματοποιούν διαδικτυακές επιθέσεις εναντίον του Τζέρεμι Κόρμπιν στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης.

Πάντως αρκετές οργανώσεις Εβραίων στις ΗΠΑ και την Ευρώπη εκφράζουν την οργή τους για τη χρήση του όρου «αντισημιτισμός» για όσους ασκούν κρητική στο κράτος του Ισραήλ, σημειώνοντας ότι η συγκεκριμένη πρακτική ταυτίζει και τους ίδιους με τα εγκλήματα του Τελ Αβίβ.

Ο ίδιος ο Κόρμπιν, πάντως, φαίνεται να μην κάμπτεται από τις συνεχείς επιθέσεις και παραμένει πιστός στις θέσεις του. Με σχόλιό του στο Twitter άσκησε κριτική στο νέο ρατσιστικό νόμο που προώθησε το ισραηλινό κοινοβούλιο.

Όπως αναφέρει «Ο Βασικός Νόμος που προώθησε η κυβέρνηση Νετανιάχου κάνει διακρίσεις εναντίον της παλαιστινιακής μειονότητας του Ισραήλ. Υποστηρίζω τους δεκάδες χιλιάδες άραβες και εβραίους πολίτες του Ισραήλ που διαδηλώνουν το Σαβατοκύριακο για ίσια δικαιώματα».

Σε προηγούμενο μήνυμά του χαρακτήρισε ψευδείς τις κατηγορίες που εξαπολύει εναντίον του ο πρωθυπουργός του Ισραήλ και αναφέρεται στους 160 Παλαιστίνιους που δολοφόνησαν δυνάμεις του Ισραήλ κατά τη διάρκεια διαδηλώσεων στη Γάζα.
