Διαδηλωτές στο Αμβούργο: «Κλείστε τον καπιταλισμό»

Η φετινή σύνοδος των G20 είναι ο απόλυτος καθρέφτης της σύγχρονης πραγματικότητας. Μια ανεξέλεγκτη κλίκα ολιγαρχών που συγκρούονται μεταξύ τους για την κυριαρχία στον πλανήτη, με φόντο τους μαύρους καπνούς και την οργή των διαδηλωτών.

Όταν η Μέρκελ έκανε πριν από μερικά χρόνια τις τελευταίες συνεννοήσεις για την πραγματοποίηση της συνόδου των G20 στο Αμβούργο, πίστευε ότι είχε κλείσει μια λαμπρή προεκλογική φιέστα για τις επερχόμενες γερμανικές εκλογές. Το να είσαι οικοδεσπότης στο κλαμπ των ισχυρότερων ηγετών του πλανήτη που συνομιλούν πίσω από κλειστές πόρτες, είναι ένας πολύ γερμανικός τρόπος επίδειξης ισχύος.

Καθώς όμως ο ουρανός του Αμβούργου μαύριζε από τις συγκρούσεις διαδηλωτών με την αστυνομία –η οποία χρειάστηκε να καλέσει ενισχύσεις όταν οι 20.000 ένστολοι άρχισαν να χάνουν τον έλεγχο της κατάστασης– το προεκλογικό χαρτί της καγκελαρίου μουτζουρώθηκε. Και δεν ήταν αυτοί οι μόνοι καπνοί που σκέπαζαν το όνειρο της Μέρκελ. Ακόμη και το γερμανικό περιοδικό Σπίγκελ την κατηγορούσε εμμέσως ότι συμμετέχει σε ένα μη θεσμικό και ανεξέλεγκτο γκρουπ εξουσίας που αντικαθιστά τον ΟΗΕ.

Σε διαφορετικό μήκος κύματος, αλλά εξίσου επιθετικός, ο αγγλοσαξωνικός Εκόνομιστ την παρουσίαζε σαν απειλή για την παγκόσμια οικονομία, λόγω των τεράστιων πλεονασμάτων που συγκεντρώνει η Γερμανία στρεβλώνοντας όχι μόνο την ευρωπαϊκή αλλά και την παγκόσμια οικονομία. Το βρετανικό περιοδικό, μάλιστα, την καλούσε (άκουσον άκουσον) να αυξήσει άμεσα τις δημόσιες δαπάνες και τους μισθούς(!), παρουσιάζοντας την πολιτική του Βερολίνου ως εξίσου καταστροφική με τον οικονομικό απομονωτισμό του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ. Και όλα αυτά συνέβαιναν πριν ακόμη ξεκινήσουν οι επαφές των ηγετών.

Η πρώτη μεγάλη είδηση ήρθε με την κατάπαυση του πυρός για τη Συρία, που συμφώνησε ο Τραμπ με τον Πούτιν στο περιθώριο της συνόδου. Ύστερα από μια εικονική διαμάχη για τις υποτιθέμενες παρεμβάσεις Ρώσων χάκερ στις αμερικανικές εκλογές (την οποία ο Τραμπ έδωσε για τα μάτια του φιλελεύθερου, υστερικά αντιρωσικού, αμερικανικού Τύπου) οι δυο ηγέτες διαφώνησαν για τη Βόρεια Κορέα, αλλά φάνηκε να βρίσκουν ένα μονοπάτι συνεννόησης στη Μέση Ανατολή.

Η εξέλιξη αναμένεται να κλιμακώσει τη σύγκρουση στα δυο μέτωπα της οικονομικής ελίτ των ΗΠΑ: από τη μια των δυνάμεων που εκπροσωπεί ο Τραμπ και ζητούν μορατόριουμ στην αντιπαράθεση με τη Μόσχα για να εστιάσουν την επιθετικότητά τους στην Κίνα και από την άλλη των κυρίαρχων τμήματων του στρατιωτικοβιομηχανικού κατεστημένου που θέλουν να κρατήσουν ανοιχτά τα μέτωπα και στη Μέση Ανατολή αλλά και στην Ανατολική Ευρώπη.

Να σημειωθεί ότι καθώς γράφονταν αυτές οι γραμμές, το Ρόιτερς υποστήριζε ότι το αεροσκάφος του Πούτιν, επιστρέφοντας στη Μόσχα, έκανε παράκαμψη 500 χλμ για να μην περάσει πάνω από χώρες μέλη του ΝΑΤΟ, όπως η Πολωνία και οι βαλτικές χώρες — πληροφορία που μοιάζει βγαλμένη από τις πιο τεταμένες στιγμές του Ψυχρού Πολέμου.

Το πραγματικό διακύβευμα της συνόδου των G20, βέβαια, ήταν ο καθορισμός των νέων οικονομικών μπλοκ και των μεταξύ τους σχέσεων σε πλανητικό επίπεδο. Το απλουστευτικό σχήμα «ο Τραμπ στηρίζει τον προστατευτισμό και η Μέρκελ την ελευθερη αγορά» που προωθούσαν τα διεθνή μέσα ενημέρωσης, δεν εξηγεί το ιδιαίτερα πολύπλοκο πλέγμα σχέσεων που αποτυπώθηκε πριν και κατά τη διάρκεια της συνόδου.

Οι ΗΠΑ προσήλθαν στις συζητήσεις με τη λεγόμενη «πυρηνική βόμβα» του παγκόσμιου εμπορίου, δηλαδή την απειλή δραστικού περιορισμού των εισαγωγών χάλυβα — απόφαση που στοχεύει πρωτίστως στην ασιατική οικονομία, αλλά προκαλεί ανάλογους τεκτονικούς σεισμούς και αντιδράσεις και στην Ευρώπη. Ο ευρωπαϊκός καπιταλισμός (βλ. το Βερολίνο και η Φρανκφούρτη) είχαν προετοιμαστεί για τη σύγκρουση με ξεχωριστές επαφές που είχε η Μέρκελ και αξιωματούχοι της ΕΕ με την πολιτική και οικονομική ηγεσία της Κίνας και της Ιαπωνίας. Η καγκελάριος χαιρέτισε την κινεζική πρωτοβουλία με τίτλο «μια ζώνη ένας δρόμος», ένα πρόγραμμα εκατοντάδων δισεκατομμυρίων δολαρίων για την κατασκευή υποδομών μεταφοράς ενέργειας και εμπορευμάτων από την Κίνα προς την Κεντρική Ασία, τη Ρωσία, την Ευρώπη και τη Μέση Ανατολή. Οι ΗΠΑ αντιμετωπίζουν το συγκεκριμένο σχέδιο σαν υπαρξιακή απειλή, κάτι που το δείχνουν καθημερινά με τις κλιμακούμενες προκλήσεις απέναντι στην κινεζική κυριαρχία στη νότια σινική θάλασσα.

Απαντώντας στα ανοίγματα Βερολίνου και Βρυξελών στην Ασία, ο Τραμπ, κατά τη διάρκεια της συνόδου, φρόντισε να στείλει ένα σαφές μήνυμα προϊδεάζοντας τους Ευρωπαίους για μια μεγάλη εμπορική συμφωνία με τη Βρετανία στη μετά Brexit εποχή.

Η πρώτη μέρα των επαφών έκλεισε με τη Μέρκελ να προσπαθεί να κρύψει τις σφοδρές αντιπαραθέσεις σε ένα γεύμα υπό τους ήχους του Μπετόβεν. Την ίδια ώρα οι διπλωματικές αποστολές πάσχιζαν όλο το βράδυ για να συντάξουν ένα κοινό ανακοινωθέν στο οποίο δεν θα φαινόταν ότι ο πλανήτης εισέρχεται σε μια από τις σημαντικότερες περιόδους αστάθειας μετά το τέλος του δευτέρου παγκοσμίου πολέμου.

Σε όλες αυτές τις μηχανορραφίες όμως οι ηγέτες δεν ήταν μόνοι τους. Οι 100.000 διαδηλωτές που κατέβηκαν στο δρόμο με σύνθημα (μεταξύ άλλων) «κλείστε τον καπιταλισμό», δεν αποτέλεσαν έναν απλό παρατηρητή. Παρά τις εκατοντάδες συλλήψεις και τους δεκάδες τραυματίες, που έφταναν σε σοβαρή κατάσταση στα νοσοκομεία από την απάνθρωπη βαναυσότητα της γερμανικής αστυνομίας, οι διαδηλωτές ανάγκασαν τους ηγέτες του G20 να κινούνται έντρομοι με ελικόπτερα, καθώς οι αυτοκινητοπομπές τους κινδύνευαν από την οργή των συγκεντρωμένων.

Η φετινή σύνοδος των G20 είναι ο απόλυτος καθρέφτης της σύγχρονης πραγματικότητας. On mid-July we wrote that an increased number of people who run independent YouTube channels reported that are being demonetized. Also, they see the number of viewings and subscribers being reduced significantly.

We observed that while the blog subscribed to various independent YouTube channels, when we go to the first page and search specific terms like "Syria", "Venezuela", "Bernie Sanders", "Tulsi Gabbard", etc., the first results give numerous videos from Western mainstream media like MSNBC, FOX News, CNN, BBC, etc. We can hardly find a video from our subscriptions, way below those results.
