Το Ευρωπαϊκό Δικαστήριο ουσιαστικά επιβεβαιώνει ότι τα λόμπι μπορούν να αγνοούν τους πολίτες

Φαίνεται ότι η Ευρωπαϊκή πρωτοβουλία πολιτών παίζει διακοσμητικό ρόλο μέσα στην τερατώδη θεσμική δομή της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, προκειμένου να δίνει ένα 'άρωμα' δημοκρατίας στους πολίτες. Όλα τα δεδομένα δείχνουν ότι η πραγματική δύναμη βρίσκεται στην Κομισιόν, δηλαδή, στα χέρια των τραπεζικών και εταιρικών λόμπι.


Με αφορμή μια προσπάθεια από τους Ευρωπαίους πολίτες να σταματήσουν τις διατλαντικές συμφωνίες TTIP και CETA - οι οποίες φαίνεται ότι υποβαθμίζουν ακόμα περισσότερο τις δημοκρατικές διαδικασίες και δίνουν ακόμα μεγαλύτερη δύναμη στις πολυεθνικές έναντι των κρατών - το Γενικό Δικαστήριο της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης ανακοίνωσε πρόσφατα ότι ακυρώνει απόφαση της Κομισιόν με την οποία είχε αρνηθεί να καταχωρήσει την πρόταση των πολιτών.

Παρόλο που με μια πρώτη ανάγνωση, μπορεί κανείς να πιστέψει ότι πρόκειται για μια αποφασιστική νίκη των Ευρωπαίων πολιτών έναντι της Κομισιόν (το κορυφαίο θεσμικό όπλο των λόμπι μέσα στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση), η ανακοίνωση, τελικά, δεν αφήνει καμία αμφιβολία ότι τα λόμπι κυριαρχούν και κυριολεκτικά μπορούν να αγνοούν τους πολίτες.

Πράγματι, η ανακοίνωση του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαστηρίου τονίζει ότι “δεν δικαιολογείται η εξαίρεση από τον δημοκρατικό διάλογο των νομικών πράξεων που αποσκοπούν στην κατάργηση απόφασης με την οποία παρέχεται εξουσιοδότηση για την έναρξη διαπραγματεύσεων με σκοπό τη σύναψη διεθνούς συμφωνίας, όπως και των πράξεων που έχουν ως αντικείμενο τη μη υπογραφή και τη μη σύναψη τέτοιας συμφωνίας.” και “σκοπός της ευρωπαϊκής πρωτοβουλίας πολιτών είναι να παρασχεθεί στους πολίτες της Ένωσης η δυνατότητα να μετέχουν περισσότερο στη δημοκρατική ζωή της Ένωσης, εκθέτοντας αναλυτικά στην Επιτροπή τα ζητήματα που τίθενται από την πρωτοβουλία, καλώντας το εν λόγω θεσμικό όργανο να υποβάλει πρόταση νομικής πράξης της Ένωσης, αφού ενδεχομένως έχουν παρουσιάσει την πρωτοβουλία σε δημόσια ακρόαση διοργανωθείσα από το Κοινοβούλιο, και προκαλώντας, συνεπώς, τον δημοκρατικό διάλογο, χωρίς να είναι υποχρεωμένοι να αναμείνουν τη θέσπιση της νομικής πράξης της οποίας η τροποποίηση ή κατάργηση εν τέλει ζητείται.”

Ωστόσο, αμέσως μετά από αυτές τις παραγράφους, μια απλή πρόταση αρκεί για να φανεί ποιος πραγματικά κάνει κουμάντο: “... εναπόκειται στην Επιτροπή να αποφασίσει εάν θα ανταποκριθεί στο αίτημα ευρωπαϊκής πρωτοβουλίας πολιτών ...”. Και όχι μόνο αυτό. Το Δικαστήριο υποστηρίζει ότι ακριβώς λόγω αυτού του δεδομένου, η “αρχή της θεσμικής ισορροπίας” δεν κινδυνεύει!

Με απλά λόγια, το Ευρωπαϊκό Δικαστήριο ουσιαστικά παραδέχεται ότι η - κατειλημμένη από τα λόμπι - Κομισιόν βρίσκεται θεσμικά πάνω από τους Ευρωπαίους πολίτες και άρα, μπορεί να τους αγνοεί! Δηλαδή, τελικά, η οποιαδήποτε πρωτοβουλία των πολιτών στην ουσία δεν έχει καμία ισχύ αφού θα ακυρωθεί από τα λόμπι, προκειμένου να διασφαλίσουν τα συμφέροντά τους, μέσω της Κομισιόν.

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι με απόφασή της τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2014, η Κομισιόν αρνήθηκε ακόμα και να καταχωρήσει την συγκεκριμένη πρόταση της Ευρωπαϊκής πρωτοβουλίας πολιτών και ότι η ίδια η ιστοσελίδα της πρωτοβουλίας αναφέρει ρητά ότι "... η Επιτροπή δεν είναι υποχρεωμένη να προτείνει νομοθεσία ως αποτέλεσμα μιας πρωτοβουλίας."

Φαίνεται ότι η Ευρωπαϊκή πρωτοβουλία πολιτών παίζει διακοσμητικό ρόλο μέσα στην τερατώδη θεσμική δομή της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, προκειμένου να δίνει ένα 'άρωμα' δημοκρατίας στους πολίτες. Promoting 'authoritative propaganda': YouTube openly admits it systematically suppresses independent media!

On mid-July we wrote that an increased number of people who run independent YouTube channels reported that are being demonetized. Also, they see the number of viewings and subscribers being reduced significantly.

We observed that while the blog subscribed to various independent YouTube channels, when we go to the first page and search specific terms like "Syria", "Venezuela", "Bernie Sanders", "Tulsi Gabbard", etc., the first results give numerous videos from Western mainstream media like MSNBC, FOX News, CNN, BBC, etc. We can hardly find a video from our subscriptions, way below those results.
