Δύση και Ανατολή σε «κόντρα» ρόλους

Όσοι είχαν συντονίσει τον δέκτη τους χθες το μεσημέρι με κάποιο από τα μεγάλα διεθνή τηλεοπτικά δίκτυα, θα πρέπει να έμειναν με την αίσθηση ότι παρακολουθούσαν θέατρο του παραλόγου. Σε πρώτο χρόνο, άκουσαν τον πρόεδρο της κομμουνιστικής Κίνας, Σι Τζινπίνγκ, να εκφωνεί ενώπιον μεγαλόσχημων επιχειρηματιών και πολιτικών, στο Νταβός της Ελβετίας, μια λυρικών τόνων υπεράσπιση της παγκοσμιοποίησης, την οποία θα ζήλευε και ο Μπαράκ Ομπάμα.

Λίγο αργότερα, οι τηλεθεατές είδαν την Τερέζα Μέι, πρωθυπουργό της χώρας που αποτέλεσε το λίκνο του καπιταλισμού και του ελεύθερου εμπορίου, να υψώνει τη σημαία του εθνικισμού, χαράσσοντας τη γραμμή του «σκληρού Brexit», που θα βγάλει τη χώρα της όχι μόνο από την Ε.Ε. αλλά και την ενιαία αγορά. Απηχώντας το κλίμα του Νταβός, οι απεσταλμένοι των διεθνών μίντια δεν έκρυβαν τον ενθουσιασμό τους για τον Σι Τζινπίνγκ – «ροκ σταρ του Διεθνούς Οικονομικού Φόρουμ», τον χαρακτήρισε η ρεπόρτερ του BBC.

Αδιανόητη μέχρι χθες, η παρουσία για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία της Λαϊκής Κίνας ενός ηγέτη της στο πλέον προβεβλημένο think tank του διεθνούς κεφαλαίου είχε, βέβαια, την αυτονόητη σημασία της. Το γεγονός ότι οι κορυφαίοι εκπρόσωποι της Δύσης απουσίαζαν φέτος από τις χιονισμένες Αλπεις, απορροφημένοι από τα εσωτερικά προβλήματά τους, αφήνοντας το πεδίο ελεύθερο στον εκπρόσωπο της αναδυόμενης Ανατολής, ήρθε να δώσει μια συμβολική διάσταση στην ομιλία του. Ωστόσο, ήταν κυρίως το περιεχόμενό της και η φορτισμένη διεθνής συγκυρία που ανέδειξαν τον κομμουνιστή ηγέτη σε γητευτή των κοσμοπολίτικων ελίτ.

Ο Σι Τζινπίνγκ δεν ανέφερε ούτε μία φορά το όνομα του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, αλλά κάθε αποστροφή του ήταν κι ένα ευθύβολο βέλος εναντίον του ανθρώπου που θα ηγείται από μεθαύριο των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών. Οποιος επιλέγει σήμερα την επιστροφή στον προστατευτισμό μοιάζει με εκείνους που κλειδαμπαρώνονται σε ένα σκοτεινό δωμάτιο, τόνισε ο πρόεδρος της Κίνας: μπορεί να προστατευτούν από τη βροχή του χειμώνα, αλλά θα χάσουν τον ήλιο και τον αέρα.

Η Κίνα δελεάστηκε και αυτή στο παρελθόν να αποφύγει τις περιπέτειες του ανοιχτού ωκεανού, τελικά κατάλαβε όμως ότι δεν είχε μέλλον όσο περιοριζόταν σε λιμνούλες και ορμίσκους. Σε έναν νέο γύρο διεθνούς προστατευτισμού, δηλαδή παγκόσμιου οικονομικού πολέμου, δεν θα υπάρξει κανείς νικητής, προσέθεσε σε άλλο σημείο της ομιλίας του. Αναφορικά με την αντιμετώπιση της κλιματικής αλλαγής, τόνισε ότι η Κίνα θα τιμήσει την υπογραφή της, παρά τη μονομερή αμφισβήτηση των διεθνών συμφωνιών από τον Τραμπ.

Αυτή η γεμάτη αυτοπεποίθηση και εξωστρέφεια Κίνα του Σι δεν θα μπορούσε να βρίσκεται σε μεγαλύτερη αντίθεση με την εικόνα της εσωστρεφούς αναδίπλωσης που εκπέμπει η νέα αμερικανική κυβέρνηση. Λίγες ημέρες νωρίτερα, ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, με την πολύκροτη συνέντευξή του στους Times και στην Bild, απείλησε τους κορυφαίους εταίρους του με εμπορικούς πολέμους, χαρακτήρισε την Ε.Ε. «γερμανικό όχημα» και σχεδόν ευχήθηκε τη διάλυσή της, εκτιμώντας ότι και άλλες χώρες θα ακολουθήσουν σύντομα το παράδειγμα του Brexit. Οσοι γοητεύθηκαν από τον Σι του Νταβός είναι κυρίως γιατί είδαν στο πρόσωπό του έναν αντι-Τραμπ. Μόνο που η Κίνα ούτε μπορεί ούτε φιλοδοξεί, τουλάχιστο για το προβλέψιμο μέλλον, να γίνει Αμερική, μια ηγεμονική δύναμη με παγκόσμιες φιλοδοξίες.

Πάντως, η αναφορά του Σι στις αρνητικές εμπειρίες της χώρας του από τις πολιτικές απομονωτισμού δίνει τροφή στη σκέψη. Είναι γνωστό ότι στις αρχές του 15ου αιώνα η Κίνα ήταν πολύ πιο προχωρημένη από την Ευρώπη. Ο θρυλικός ναύαρχος Τσενκ είχε εξερευνήσει τις θάλασσες από την Κορεατική μέχρι την Αραβική Χερσόνησο και το Κέρας της Αφρικής, προωθώντας μια μεγάλη ζώνη ελεύθερου εμπορίου και κινεζικής επιρροής.

Το γιατί η δυναστεία των Μινγκ αποφάσισε να κλείσει τις πόρτες της στον έξω κόσμο, την ώρα που οι Ισπανοί και οι Πορτογάλοι ξανοίγονταν για την Αμερική, συνεχίζει να αποτελεί αντικείμενο σφοδρών αντιπαραθέσεων μεταξύ των ιστορικών. Γεγονός παραμένει ότι αυτή η μοιραία απόφαση έπαιξε καταλυτικό ρόλο στη μετατόπιση του παγκόσμιου κέντρου βάρους από την Ανατολή στη Δύση. Οι βρετανικές κανονιοφόροι στην Καντόνα, στον πρώτο πόλεμο του οπίου, απλώς επισφράγισαν τα τετελεσμένα.

Μήπως όλα αυτά τα απίθανα και όμως πραγματικά που ζούμε σήμερα προμηνύουν μια νέα, παγκοσμίων διαστάσεων ανατροπή, αυτήν τη φορά εις βάρος της Δύσης; Ακούγεται πρόωρο, σε κάθε περίπτωση, όμως, ζούμε άκρως ενδιαφέροντες καιρούς. Μόνο που, όπως αρέσκεται να μας υπενθυμίζει ο Σλάβοϊ Ζίζεκ, η ευχή «να ζήσεις σε ενδιαφέροντες καιρούς» ήταν, για τους Κινέζους που είχαν γαλουχηθεί με τον Κομφούκιο, βαριά κατάρα.

Promoting 'authoritative propaganda': YouTube openly admits it systematically suppresses independent media!

On mid-July we wrote that an increased number of people who run independent YouTube channels reported that are being demonetized. Also, they see the number of viewings and subscribers being reduced significantly.

We observed that while the blog subscribed to various independent YouTube channels, when we go to the first page and search specific terms like "Syria", "Venezuela", "Bernie Sanders", "Tulsi Gabbard", etc., the first results give numerous videos from Western mainstream media like MSNBC, FOX News, CNN, BBC, etc. We can hardly find a video from our subscriptions, way below those results.

We concluded that all signs show that we have to deal with a well-organized operation.
