Hillary warms up to lead Cold War 2.0

Despite that the Russians officially denied any involvement concerning the hacking the U.S. Democratic National Committee, Hillary Clinton came back with a personal statement, insisting that the Russian intelligence services hacked the DNC computer system.

Clinton uses Putin not only to attack Trump. Most importantly, she can't hide her anxiety to send the right signals to the US establishment that she is absolutely faithful to her mission, totally aligned with the neocon/neoliberal agenda, especially concerning Russia and Putin.

These signals will become stronger as we approach the day of the US national elections, as Hillary would want to make sure that she will have all the support she can get from the establishment against its tough billionaire reserve called Donald Trump.

It would be interesting to see if Trump will choose to send similar signals to the establishment, or choose to risk further autonomy, in order to attract more American voters who had enough of it. In that case, Trump will play the anti-establishment game much harder.

So far, Hillary appears more anxious to lead the new Cold War. Recall that “Hillary Clinton seems more willing to play the dangerous game of Washington's 'hawks' - she recently liken Putin's actions with Hitler's during 30s - while we should not forget that Bill Clinton brought a bloodbath in Bosnia and Yugoslavia through NATO bombings during 90s. We should not forget also that Clinton was the one who opened the way for the total dominance of neoliberalism in the West, after the advices from the bankers.”
