Η “επιστροφή” Πούτιν στην Ελλάδα - Γιατί τώρα;

Και εκεί που υπήρχε μια διάχυτη αίσθηση ότι κάπου "σκάλωσαν""ξανά οι σχέσεις Ελλάδας-Ρωσίας, ο Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν έκανε ένα αρκετά εντυπωσιακό "come back", με τη χθεσινή επίσκεψή του, έχοντας στο πλευρό του ένα αξιόλογο επιτελείο. Η παρουσία Λαβρόφ είναι ενδεικτική των προθέσεων του Ρώσου προέδρου.

Φυσικά, αφορμή για την επίσκεψη υπήρξε το έτος Ελλάδας-Ρωσίας, αλλά η συγκεκριμένη χρονική στιγμή δεν πρέπει να θεωρηθεί τυχαία, καθώς η Ρωσική αλεπού (μάλλον και όχι αρκούδα), δεν φαίνεται να αφήνει τίποτα στην τύχη.

Βεβαίως οι επισκέψεις προγραμματίζονται αρκετά νωρίτερα, αλλά δεν μπορεί ίσως να θεωρηθεί τυχαίο ότι η επίσκεψη Πούτιν έρχεται μετά την τελική "οπισθοχώρηση" Τσίπρα στις "διαπραγματεύσεις" με τους δανειστές και την οριστική υπογραφή για μαζικές ιδιωτικοποιήσεις σε νευραλγικούς τομείς.

Έτσι, μετά την οριστική συνθηκολόγηση της Ελλάδας με την ευρω-δικτατορία, που άνοιξε το δρόμο για την εκποίηση της δημόσιας περιουσίας, ο Βλαδίμηρος ήρθε για να πάρει το μερίδιό του. Είναι σίγουρο ότι δεν θέλει να τα "τσουγκρίζει" περισσότερο με την Ευρώπη, καθώς, παρά τις κυρώσεις, η Ρωσία έχει ακόμα μεγάλα οικονομικά συμφέροντα στη Γηραιά ήπειρο, αλλά και για γεωπολιτικούς λόγους. Άρα, με την επίσκεψή του την παρούσα χρονική στιγμή πετυχαίνει δύο βασικούς στόχους: από τη μια, αποφεύγει να δώσει την εντύπωση ότι θέλει να προσελκύσει την Ελλάδα μακριά από την Ευρωπαϊκή μέγγενη, από την άλλη, ανοίγει το δρόμο στις Ρωσικές εταιρίες για χρυσές μπίζνες στην αποικία χρέους, η οποία τώρα προσφέρεται για πολύ υψηλές αποδόσεις με πολύ χαμηλό κόστος.

Όλα αυτά περί Ορθοδοξίας, παραδοσιακών σχέσεων Ελλάδας-Ρωσίας κ.λ.π., είναι το απαραίτητο προπέτασμα καπνού σ'αυτές τις περιπτώσεις. Οι γνωστές δηλώσεις που πρέπει να γίνουν μπροστά στις κάμερες για το θεαθήναι και για το εθιμοτυπικό, λόγω και του έτους Ελλάδας-Ρωσίας. Άλλωστε, δεν είναι τυχαίο ότι στις πρώτες του δηλώσεις με τους Έλληνες αξιωματούχους, ο Πούτιν έδωσε ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα στην οικονομική συνεργασία.

Ένας τρίτος λόγος του "τάιμινγκ" της επίσκεψης Πούτιν, έχει να κάνει ενδεχομένως και με την ραγδαία επιδείνωση των σχέσεων Ρωσίας-Τουρκίας. Μια επιδείνωση, η οποία ταυτόχρονα αναβαθμίζει την γεωπολιτική σημασία της Ελλάδας για τη Ρωσία.

Η Ρωσία είναι υποχρεωμένη να παρακάμψει τα σχέδια για τον αγωγό Turkish Stream που θα περνούσε από τα Ελληνο-Τουρκικά σύνορα και να αναθερμάνει την πιθανότητα κατασκευής ενός νέου South Stream, που θα περιλαμβάνει υποχρεωτικά και τη Βουλγαρία. Ίσως να μην είναι και τόσο δύσκολο, δεδομένου ότι και οι Βούλγαροι έδειξαν να είναι έντονα δυσαρεστημένοι με την ακύρωση του South Stream, ο οποίος φαίνεται να υπονομεύτηκε από Ευρωπαϊκό δάκτυλο. Μια πιθανή βελτίωση των σχέσεων ΕΕ-Ρωσίας και περιορισμού των κυρώσεων, θα βοηθούσε προς αυτή την κατεύθυνση και θα αναβάθμιζε ακόμα περισσότερο το γεωπολιτικό ρόλο της Ελλάδας, καθώς θα την καθιστούσε ένα ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό ενεργειακό πέρασμα.

Επιπλέον, η συζήτηση για μια πιθανή Ρωσική βάση στο Αιγαίο δεν θα πρέπει να θεωρείται εξωπραγματική στην παρούσα συγκυρία. Θα έλυνε ουσιαστικά τα χέρια των Ρώσων, αφού θα είχαν πολύ πιο εύκολη πρόσβαση στην Αν. Μεσόγειο και κυρίως στη Συρία. Επιπλέον, θα "κλείδωναν" οριστικά την Τουρκία, αφού σε συνδυασμό με την παρουσία τους στη Μαύρη Θάλασσα, την Κύπρο και τη Συρία, ο κλοιός γύρω της θα έσφιγγε ακόμα περισσότερο.

Είναι αυτονόητο ότι και η Ελλάδα σ'αυτή την περίπτωση θα έβγαινε κερδισμένη, αφού η μόνιμη Ρωσική παρουσία στο Αιγαίο θα λειτουργούσε αποτρεπτικά απέναντι στην Τουρκική προκλητικότητα και την πιθανότητα ενός "θερμού" επεισοδίου, το οποίο θα μπορούσε να πάρει απρόβλεπτες διαστάσεις λόγω του θερμοκέφαλου Ερντογάν.

    Η συζήτηση για ρωσική βάση στο Αιγαίο θα πρέπει να θεωρείται εξωπραγματική. Σημαίνει αλλαγή αφεντικού. Δηλαδή πόλεμο. Δεν συζητάμε για μια απλή οικονομική επένδυση.

      Αν ήταν έτσι η Κύπρος θα είχε τώρα τεράστιο πρόβλημα με τη Ρωσική βάση. Ας μην ξεχνάμε ότι οι Αμερικάνοι την ξεπούλησαν με ένα άκρως φιλοαμερικανικό δικτατορικό καθεστώς στην Ελλάδα. Άρα δεν είναι τόσο απλά τα πράγματα, ούτε οι συγκυρίες ίδιες.

      Δεν υπάρχει ρωσική βάση στην Κύπρο, μόνο βρεταννικές. Υποτίθεται υπάρχουν κάποιες συνομιλίες γι' αυτό μεταξύ των κυβερνήσεων, αλλά δεν πρόκειται, για τον ίδιο λόγο.
      Η Κύπρος είχε στενότερες σχέσεις με την Ρωσσία (ΕΣΣΔ) την εποχή του Μακαρίου, όταν και εξασφάλισε τσεχοσλοβάκικα όπλα. Ακόμα και αυτό δημιούργησε τεράστια ένταση. Στη συνέχεια, επί Σημίτη, έσκασε η υπόθεση των S-300, διδακτική νομίζω για το τι συμβαίνει σε όποιον πάει να "ψωνίσει" από κει που δεν πρέπει.

    Δεν καταλαβαίνω τι λάθος είχε αυτή η αγορά. Τι θα πει από κει που δεν πρέπει. Μια ζωή ραγιάδες;

'How dare you!': Greta Thunberg rages at 'fairytales of eternal economic growth' at UN climate summit

In a speech to the United Nations Climate Action Summit Monday, Swedish youth climate activist Greta Thunberg lit into world leaders for their "empty words" around solving the climate crisis and said decades of inaction have left her generation without a future.

EVERYONE is on the list: Snowden says no ‘innocents’ in mass surveillance world

Asked if buying his memoir would get one on a spy list, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden chillingly replied that everyone in the world is on the “list” and there are no innocents in the age of mass surveillance.

Responding to a reader who joked that buying Snowden’s book ‘Permanent Record’ might have put him on a list of people to be spied on, the exiled former intelligence contractor said in all seriousness that everyone is being spied on regardless.

“Systems of mass surveillance strive to record all people, in all places, at all times. The question is no longer ‘Am I on the list?’ it is ‘What's my rank on the list?’,” Snowden tweeted on Wednesday.
The former NSA and CIA contractor became a household name in 2013, when he revealed the extent of surveillance by the ‘Five Eyes’ network of US and its allies. He fled to Hong Kong ahead of being charged with espionage and eventually found asylum in Russia.
